the accented garbage newspaper sleeves did a real number on the LPs, just afterwards a few rounds of cleaning it sounds neat. Some defects are never going to come out though :(

Expressionless flat and virtually completely silent where information technology counts. Very impressed

Floyd's best album since piper at the gates of dawn.

The album sounds similar "iv millionaires gathered on a one thousand thousand dollar studio" and fabricated the "most safe and boring record". They just couldn't accept any chances and risk their fame? They are thinking more virtually achieving the perfect sounds than any composition. The sound is nice on this anthology - yes - just the essence is merely boring. I have no need or want to listen to it more than once. It was so safe. It's basically ane composition with endless variation. But if you similar this type of background / film soundtrack music then it might be great for you lot. I virtually fell asleep. iii/5

This box set consists of a CD, a dvd , a book and three mail cards. The simply thing that actually matters in the end is the music. If you are expecting anything new, innovative or original on this collection then you lot volition probably be disappointed. Yes this was a collaborative try in regards to the creative aspect of the collection but every track sounds like something you have heard from Pinkish Floyd in the past. There are elements of "Wish You Were Here," "The Wall," "Dark Side Of The Moon" and even, suprisingly, "A Saucer Total Of Secrets.". Fifty-fifty though this drove is 100% a rehash of everything they take washed in the by, post Syd Barrett, it is not an unpleasant heed. The tracks seem more like jams so actual songs and some of the cloth seems weak for that reason but overall I enjoyed this set more than either of Pink Floyd'southward mail service Roger Waters studio albums. They let Richard Wright accept more than creative input and you lot can really hear it. Wright was a huge part of Pink Floyd's sound and this collection is proof. If you are a fan of Pinkish Floyd's older sounds then yous should find a cheap CD copy and savour it in that format. Equally previously mentioned this box gear up comes with a DVD some post cards, and a photo book. I of the postal service cards is a cool looking hologram but the other two are uninteresting and the volume is just photos of the three remaining members of the group. In the terminate information technology is the music that matters and although the music is unoriginal in manner and audio, information technology sounds more than like Pink Floyd than anything released after the mid 1970s.

Took me iii wet cleans to get this silent. And on the 3rd make clean it brought upward the most incredible amount of white crap on the record and stylus haha. Most probable due to the paper sleeve... Once it was clean though... WOW! This matter sounds incredible!!! As good equally any original Pink Floyd records I own.

the surround audio on this set is pretty practiced, the dorsum channels seem to mostly exist ambience, i didn't notice much in them.

My copy is completely flat and the sound is but out of this world. Incredible pressing zero pops, the soundstage is then wide its almost 3 dimensional. The music completely envelopes you. I played it on my newly restored Beogram 8002 turntable with a restored MMC2 cartridge with a Cambridge Audio Alva Solo preamp with a built-in subsonic filter. This is a masterpiece from a sound quality and pressing attribute!

I was really worried about getting a bad pressing based on some of the other experiences people take had with this one, just I just picked up a copy and it sounds excellent. Discs are flat and virtually dead quiet. Audio quality is really great.

I've got a lovely pressing of this album. Great album a mixture of sectionalisation bell and shine on in my opinion.
Vinyl is flat and quiet.
No complaints.
